Strategy and Planning Manager during the regulatory review NZ Ministry of Agriculture and

Consequently, we were exposed to a unique hands-on experience of planning and
implementing fundamental reforms to government and industry operations.
2. Establishing businesses from the beginning and basic assets.
Planning and Marketing Manager for the establishment and successful transformation from
a poor performing government department to a State owned enterprise charged with the
commercial development of the State Coal mines. Involved deploying business planning
procedures and strategic thinking, constructing an enterprise from a set of assets into an

1) Dairy and beef farming, 300 dairy cows and 700 bull beef at Karamea, West Coast
2) Established three herds of 750 dairy cows at Inniskillen, Culverdon, Canterbury.
3) Introduced new farming techniques including block grazing of dairy stock, overhead irrigation, intensive dairy bull beef raising, new fertilizer mixes, cost reduction methods.

Held office at local, regional and national level in Federated Farmers.
